From the beginning of the development of the concept the basic objects were to a: provide a source of clean energy at a low cost and b: design it in such a way as to be able to bring electric energy to under developed countries and communities. Both goals have been accomplished.

Due to the simplicity of design, the facility of manufacture and as development and research goes forward the cost of each unit or better the cost of generating MWs will substantially decrease. All are vital factor in bringing clean, low cost electric energy to isolated communities.
Energy, in these areas , is synonymous with better health care, the feasibility of establishing health support institutions where none exist, better  educational facilities, the ability to use the internet, the creation of jobs, the improvement of general social conditions and the ability to provide security to isolated areas.
